The BSA Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that aims to enhance public understanding of the built environment and the processes that shape it. With understanding, the communities we serve will be better equipped to enrich and preserve their physical and natural surroundings. The BSA Foundation is proud to collaborate with a large cohort of partners, including architects, designers, design firms, design schools, community groups, municipalities, and engaged citizens.
The annual Gingerbread Design Competition is an annual fundraiser to support the BSA Foundation's community design programs and resources. Funded by your donations, the BSA Foundation inspires more vibrant neighborhoods and a more resilient and equitable city through design explorations with community-based audiences. Which creation is your favorite? Donations serve as “votes” for the creations, and prizes will be awarded for the highest total donated, as well as the most individual donors. All donations are tax-deductible. All Gingerbread constructions can be seen on display at BSA Space, 290 Congress Street, Boston, and will be on view through December 31, 2017.
